MY BOOK

BeWeird Book by Tanja Domnina.png

Bydlo-Lyrica is a poetry book written in Russian — Tanja’s native language — and rooted in honesty without decoration. It explores the moment when a person stops smoothing the edges — in language, in feelings, and in confession.

Written between 2016 and 2025, the poems move through vulnerability, desire, pain, and self-awareness without romanticising suffering or turning love into a pedestal. These texts speak in a raw, intimate voice — like an inner monologue finally allowed to exist without filters.

ABSTRACT ART

My work explores absence, longing, and emotional memory. It is rooted in experiences that were imagined, hoped for, or silently carried — moments that never fully existed in reality, yet left a lasting emotional trace.

Through mixed media and reused materials, I give form to what is usually intangible: grief without an object, love without a body, pain without a clear beginning or end. Fragmented elements, traces of previous use, and imperfect surfaces become part of the narrative — reflecting how memory itself is layered, fragile, and incomplete.

Art becomes a way to externalize pain, to move it outside the body and mind, where it can be observed rather than endured. By making these inner states visible, I create space to sit with them, to acknowledge them, and to allow transformation to occur — slowly, without force.
